The primary tire racks Tier-Rack constructs are: passenger tire racks, truck tire racks, tire display racks, aircraft tire racks and military tire racks.
Passenger tire racks can be made of a steel base and corner posts, or a steel Tier-Rack® frame which attaches to a wood pallet. The all steel stack rack is best for long term storage but for short term storage the Tier Rack frame will be suitable and save you some money. In fact you can buy used Tier-Rack® frames from Tier-Rack Corporation and save even more. The Tier-Rack® tire stacking frame was one of the first product lines Tier-Rack introducedRacks for truck tires are generally larger than those used for passenger tires. Tier-Rack will produce racks of any size and configuration to safely store tires of any size. As with the passenger tire racks, truck tire racks are generally designed and constructed so that they can be stacked four to five racks high in the warehouse.
While passenger tire racks and truck tire racks are designed to be used in a warehouse, Tire Display Racks are designed to showcase tires at the retail level. They are usually built with wheels so that the display rack can be easily rolled out of the shop to act as a merchandising rack for tires.
