Tier-Rack Tire Warehouse Safety Rules

Here's a list of rules that your tire warehouse should always make sure to follow to ensure proper safety when using Tier-Rack's tire racks.

Always maintain a clean warehouse

This means floors, aisles, shelves, whatever.  Take the time to ensure that your warehouse walkways and storage areas are free from clutter that can cause accidents, and don't have potential spill areas for slip and falls

Ensure that cables are covered.  Don't assume that people will always see cables stretched across the floor or walkways

Pace yourselves - running in a warehouse or working yourselves to the point of exhaustion are both false hustle mistakes.  There's no reason to run or work tired.  They can wait on their tire for the 2 minutes it takes to walk, and your manager needs to schedule you for breaks.

Make sure that the warehouse is always well ventilated, keeping airflow during the summer and heat in the winter can mean the difference between a safe worker and a costly sickness or injury.

These are just a few examples of how a little pre-planning can help solve the major problems of warehouse work.  Ensuring warehouse safety means that everyone can work effectively and efficiently.  This will make your business more profitable and a better place to work.

Since 1955, Tier-Rack Corp has used their Tier-Rack storage system to store tires, boxes, fabric, pipe,  elecronics, bicycles, furniture, food, beverages, and almost any product that can be kept in a warehouse.  Any company that uses pallets can use this product, which stacks frames on top of your existing wood pallets to create  vertical space. These will allow a company to stack 3 to 5 loads of crushable of fragile products, as well as  awkward, non-stackable product.

When the frames aren't being utilized, they take up a small amount of space, folding down to conserve your  precious warehouse space.
