Running a warehouse is a complicated job.  Beyond the job of organizing schedules and keeping people on task, keeping the warehouse's stock accessible and safe is the main task.  Finding a balance between rotating old stock forward, keeping aisles clear, and ensuring that the stock is stored in a way that the items don't become damaged is very important.

Rack1This balance is especially important in warehouses that store tires, such as tire shops, big box stores, auto repair shops, and any business that repairs their own vehicles.  These warehouses need to have their stock accessible, as their customers need to have their vehicles fixed, and moving the customers in and out quickly can make all of the difference in staying open and going out of business.  Tires also have to be stored correctly physically to keep them from warping, which can lead to blowouts and lawsuits.

Tier-Rack Corporation has been a leader in rack solutions and flexible warehouse racking systems for almost sixty years. The original Tier-Rack® pallet stacking frame converts regular warehouse pallets into sturdy storage racks in seconds without screws or bolts. And the Load-Nester® all-steel storage rack features light and heavy duty models of solid all-welded, knock-down, or nestable designs for all your material handling needs. Our portable stacking racks and rack systems are designed to handle and store even the most fragile, odd-shaped, and awkward merchandise. They can be designed to transport two loads at a time. Our stack racks reduce handling time, stack four to six high, and they are capable of supporting thousands of pounds per unit load. All Tier-Rack racks are engineered with a "2-to-1" safety factor to ensure the racks will perform safely and last for decades.  For more information, visit http://tier-rack.com today.
